Make a computer cheap and they will buy...no matter what operating system it runs on. Earlier this year Wal-Mart, through its online website, started offering computers without operating systems and then added systems running on Linux. They offer a C3 based 800 MHz system with 128 MB RAM, CD-ROM, integrated Ethernet and 10 GB Hard drive with Lindows, Lycoris, or no OS for the rock bottom price of $199.86. While the system is not a barn-burner, it has been selling like hotcakes....
